Rossi | Hassler Wedding

All photographers have experienced the effect of the pandemic in their business, and several photographers have experienced a variety of turn outs when it comes to the weddings they had planned for during the pandemic.

I only had one wedding to tend to, and I have to boast about my couple a little bit. Though I’m sure it wasn’t fun to make all of the choices they had to make (limiting the guest list to immediate family, foregoing a bridal party, postponing their reception), Amanda and Nick handled adapting their plans with grace and understanding.

The intimacy of Nick and Amanda’s wedding was refreshing.

After the ceremony, we quickly finished up family portraits and spent a nice portion of time to bride and groom portraits. The weather was perfectly comfortable. The threatening clouds passed and sunshine fell over Saxonburg, making for beautiful photographs.

Other family members and close friend gathered at Amanda’s parents’ home for a relaxed outdoor celebration of the newlyweds.

Tierney - 12 Years Beautiful

It’s so good to have your children documented as they grow! Tierney’s parents arrange for annual portraits, and I’m sure those images will be a treasure to future generations. For Tierney’s portraits, we used lovely backdrops at Riverside Park in Greenville, PA. Our 10 AM mini session offered beautiful sunshine and the perfect temperature.

It never gets old being a part of a wedding day, and it definitely is an extra special experience when a personal friend saying “I do.” I have always appreciated Pete for his no frills, older brother-like advice he would give me throughout college. It was no used to cry about my problems. He would give me the same cut and dry answers anyway and maybe awkwardly pat me on the shoulder. I could never quite imagine the girl that would be THE ONE for Pete. I mean, who’s going to like the awkward shoulder pats?

And then there was June. And let me tell you folks, here is the lovely, strong, brilliant woman handpicked by God for Mr. Peter Carolas. She’s THE ONE that won’t get the shoulder pats—She’ll enjoy a special embrace, a listening heart, and a hand to hold for all her life. Of all the perfect pairing you can come up with in the world, go ahead and add Pete+June to your list.

Without knowing them as a couple for very long, it was apparent that they have a special strength together. Their pastor really nailed it with his “forever spotter” analogy, during the ceremony :)

With their Christian faith as the cornerstone of their relationship, life’s challenges will be conquered together, as they should be. Not even the weather could hinder them this day! The sunshine and refreshing rainstorms all came in good timing on May 25th, and I had to see it as a sweet wedding gift from our Heavenly Father. That includes the marvelous sunset too!
